The iPet Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management is designed to be flexible to meet the real life needs and circumstances of its candidates. It is aimed for candidates who wish to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare, style and finish a range of dog breeds, Health and Safety in a dog grooming salon, business and management and skills in Canine First Aid.

The units covered in this course are:

301: Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming environment.

302: Promote the Welfare of Dogs conforming with Relevant Legislation.

303: Customer Care and Managing complaints.

304: Assess and plan dog grooming styles and maintenance of equipment.

305: Health checking, Handling and Canine Behaviour.

306: Prepare, Style and Finish a range of Dog Breeds.

307: Canine Emergency First Aid

308: Planning the operation of a small canine business.

Over 30 days you will prepare and groom an array of different styles and breeds, from pet trims to breed standard. You will complete a Dog Health Check and Grooming Diary for at least 20 dogs to include a minimum of 10 different breeds, covering 6 coat types. Unlike any other qualifications of the same stature there are no pre-requisites to starting the course. As with all our courses at Wizard of Dogs Grooming School there is an excellent balance of theory and practical design to ensure that the vocational strength in skills lead the qualification and the underpinning knowledge is developed throughout.
